Make-Ahead Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Combine potatoes, sliced garlic, 1 ½ teaspoons salt and water to cover in large stock pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
